New service for Surrey business
RETAIN - stay well, stay working
Richmond Fellowship’s RETAIN service supports both employers and employees with mental health issues. Early intervention is a key component of our support, preventing issues escalating wherever possible.
Studies undertaken by Brighton University and the Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health show between 70% and 80% evidenced success rates for people retaining their employment subsequent to RETAIN support. RETAIN assists employers in the following ways:
- Specialist support for managers and supervisors
- Impartial information and advice
- Facilitating good communication between employer and employee
- Provide independent mediation
- Improve the awareness of mental health issues
- Provide courses/guidance that will lead to healthier working environments
For employees, RETAIN provides:
- Vocational advice and guidance
- Support and advice on mental health issues
- Specialist advice on employment legislation
- Advocacy on behalf of the employee in their workplace – if required
- Ongoing support for the process
